1. With t h e power source off, t h e product is p u t
into t h e continuous meas u r eme n t mode by
holding t h e
MODE key down an d t h en
pressing t h e MEAS key.

modes toggled.

An auto power off function does not operate
in t h e continuous meas u r eme n t mode. Be
s ur e to r e t u r n to
HOLD
mode. The power goes
off after 15 seconds.

During t h e continuous meas u r eme n t mode,
t h e laser ma r k e r (3415-01) or LED ma r k e r
(3416-01) is not t u r n ed on. (Marker is t u r n ed
on whenever
MEAS
key is pressed.)
1. Stick black body t ape on t h e object whose
t emp erat u r e is to be measured, or spray it
with black body spray.
2. Set t h e t h er mal emissivity value(
ε
) on t h e
display screen to t h e value indicated on black
body t ape (black body spray).
