2.5 Continuity Check
• Never apply voltage to test leads when
the Continuity function is selected. Doing
so may damage the product and result in
personal injury.
• To avoid electrical accidents, remove
power from the circuit before measuring.
1.
Move the function selector to the
position.
2.
Select Diode ( ) using the
REC•MEMO button ( lights up).
3.
Connect the red test lead to ter-
minal
V.

, and the black test lead
to terminal COM .
4.
Connect the test leads to the
measurement object.
When the continuity (threshold:
50±30
Ω
or less) is established,
the beeping sounds and the
resistance is displayed
(fixed to the 420-
Ω
range).
