Comply with the national regulations for working at heights.
As drop arrester for this product, use only a combination of the Hilti retaining
strap and the Hilti tool tether #2261970.

Secure the retaining strap to the installation openings for accessories.
Check that it holds securely.

Secure one carabiner of the tool tether to the retaining strap and secure
the second carabiner to a load-bearing structure. Check that both
carabiners hold securely.
Comply with the operating instructions of the Hilti retaining strap
and those of the Hilti tool tether.
5.7 Changing the accessory tool 3
1. Pull the depth gauge away from the power tool, releasing the snap-on
connection.
2. Push the chuck towards the product, turning the chuck slightly at the
same time, and hold it in this position.
3. Remove the accessory tool with your other hand.
4. Insert the desired accessory tool into the chuck, pushing it into the
product as far as it will go.
5. Refit the depth gauge to the power tool.
5.8 Forward / reverse 4
In the middle position, the forward / reverse selector switch serves as a
switch-on interlock.

Set the forward/reverse switch to forward or reverse rotation, as appli-
cable.

WARNING
Electrical hazards There is a risk of electric shock if a screw is driven into
a concealed electric cable and, at the same time, the bit holder or depth
gauge is touched.

Hold the product only by the grip when driving or removing screws.
