Zoom Parameters
Zoom
The TechnoArc fixture has a 3:1 zoom ranging from 9° to 32°. The
Zoom
Coarse
and
Zoom
Fine
parameters provide 16-bit continuous control for smooth and precision zoom function .
The TechnoArc fixture utilizes a radial lenticular array homogenizing lens that is composed of two
lenticular doors. When the lenticular doors are opened, they allow a 6° hard edge beam. When
the lenticular lens doors are closed, the
Zoom
Parameter lets you control the lens movement. The
narrowest angle is selected with a DMX value = 0. Increasing values widens the beam.
Zoom Bypass
The
Zoom Bypass
parameter lets you create a hard edge beam effect by opening the lenticular
doors at a variable rate. The
Zoom
parameter must be set to a DMX value = 0 to control
Zoom
Bypass.
Adjust the
Zoom Bypass
parameter from the softest edge beam at a DMX value = 0 to
a hard edge beam at a DMX value = 255 (100%).
Iris Parameter
The TechnoArc iris has a variable circular opening that controls the beam diameter in a similar
fashion as a camera's iris controls the amount of light entering the camera.
Iris
is a continuous
parameter that adjusts the iris from closed at a DMX of 0 to open at a DMX value of 255.
