e) Remove the protective foil from the control pan-
el.
f) Check the delivery for completeness.
Report any transport damage or incomplete de-
livery to your dealer.
g) Dispose of the packaging in accordance with
the applicable statutory regulations.
h) Make sure that a clean and intact filter is fitted in
the air inlet grille.
i) Make sure the power cord is not damaged.
j) Make sure that the water tank is correctly in-
stalled.
Transporting the device on site
The device can be transported by two persons work-
ing together or by crane. Proceed as follows:
Observe the relevant occupational health and safety
rules for the lifting of heavy loads!

– One person must hold the device by the handle;
the other person must hold the device by the
housing (see arrows):
– Place a hoisting sling around the housing.
NOTICE! Observe the centre of gravity of the
device to ensure that it cannot slip from the
sling.
– The wheels are attached so that the device can
be pulled up steps and stairs without damaging
the housing or the stairwell.
Positioning device
The device contains flammable refrigerant. There-
fore, its location of installation must meet the follow-
ing requirements:
– For best performance, the device should be op-
erated in closed rooms.
For operation and storage, the room must
measure minimum 4 m
2
.
– Close all windows, doors and opening to other
rooms to prevent that the dried and the humid air
mix.
Open doors only when absolutely necessary.
– Position the device so that the air flow through
the intake and outlet openings is not obstructed.
– Do not place the device near a heat source,
such as a radiator, etc.
– Keep the device away from loose objects, includ-
ing curtains, etc.
– Place the device in a position where air circula-
tion is unobstructed; maintain a minimum dis-
tance of 60 cm and 3 m to the nearest wall at the
air intake and air outlet side respectively.

– The room temperature must be within the per-
missible operating range of the device. Other-
wise, the device does not work (see also
Stacking devices for operation or storage
For operation or storage, it is permissible two com-
bine two devices in a stack.
a) Loosen the star grip screws of the device
placed at the bottom.
b) Push the handle to the bottom stop and tighten
the star grip screws.
