LD900 and INS

Commissioning Guide

With the use of quality shielded data cable, the RS422 interface cable should not exceed 50 metres. Avoid
running the interface cable close to noisy power lines, or other electrical noise sources.

When checking the IMU health the COM ( ) LED on the IMU can be used as a reference:

LED

State

Meaning

Off

No communication between IMU and LD900

On

IMU is transmitting and receiving data without errors

Slow Flash

IMU is receiving data from the LD900 but not transmitting

Fast Flash IMU is transmitting data but not receiving data from the LD900
