8. Maintenance and cleaning
Disconnect the power cable before carrying
out any work on the device.
Always keep the device and its ventilation
ducts clean to ensure that work can be carried
out safely and efficiently.
If the device should malfunction despite
the meticulous manufacturing process and
tests, repairs may only be carried out by
authorised after-sales service partners for
electrical appliances.
Meaning of the symbol with the crossed-out
waste bin on wheels:
Do not dispose of the device with
unsorted household waste, use
designated waste collection points.
Contact your local administrative authorities
for information on the available waste col-
lection systems. If electrical appliances are
disposed of at rubbish tips or landfill sites,
hazardous substances may be released into
the ground water and enter the food chain,
which has a negative impact on health and
well-being. When replacing old devices with
new ones, the retailer is legally obliged to
take back and dispose of your old device free
of charge.
