5.2 Charging the battery
Your A2B dealer should provide a fully
charged battery upon delivery of your A2B,
should this not be the case, please ensure
that prior to its first use, you charge the
battery supplied with your A2B for at least
12 hours.
1. Check the Voltage Selector switch on
the charger to ensure that it is set to your
local voltage (230V for Europe).
2. Plug the charger into the wall outlet,
ensuring the charger is turned OFF.
3. Carefully align the connector pins and
connect the charger to the battery by
plugging the connector into the charger
socket.
4. Turn ON the charger using the ON/OFF
switch on the charger.
5. LED Indications:
• The Power LED will illuminate RED
when the charger is plugged into a
wall outlet and the ON/OFF switch is
in the ON position.
• The Indicator LED will illuminate
AMBER while the charger is charging
the battery.

• The Indicator LED will change to GREEN
when the battery is fully charged.
When charging is complete (the
Indicator LED is GREEN), turn OFF
the charger using the ON/OFF switch
on the charger.
Unplug the charger from the wall out-
let then carefully unplug the charger
from the battery pack by pulling the
connector out of the charger socket.
*Your battery is now ready for use.
NOTE: The battery will not take a
charge if you connect the battery when the
charger is switched on.
