ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Mounting Luminaire to Pole

;

1.

To Install the Rhino Floodlight Luminaire on pole

;

1.1. 

Make  supply  wire  connection  and  pass  cable  through  grommet  on  pole

.

1.2. 

Align  holes  in  luminaire  base  plate  with  threaded  holes  on  pole

.

1.3. 

Install  (2)  M8  bolts  using  size  S6  Allen  Head  wrench.  Tighten  to 

15  lb  ft  (20

Nm) 

of  torque

2.

Adjusting Tilt Angle

;

2.1. 

Loosen (do not remove) M10 bolt and M10 nut using size S8 Allen Head wrench.

2.2. 

Adjust Luminaire head to desired tilt angle. Approximate range of tilt adju  80 

        Degrees. Tighten bolt/nut to 30 lb ft (40 Nm) of torque.

3.

Base/Orientation Adjustment

;

3.1. 

Loosen  (do  not  remove)  (2)  M8  bolt  and  washer  assemblies  using  size  S6  Allen

Head  wrench. 

3.2. 

3.2  Select desired horizontal arm rotation adjustment. Approximate range of adjustment 

        ± 45 Degrees. Tighten bolt to 15 lb ft (20 Nm) of torque. 

      LED Driver Replacement

;

      Note 1: Ensure power is off/disconnected from the source

      Note 2: For Personnel and Luminaire safety, remove luminaire from pole and carry out

 

maintenance at grade.

Accesing LED Driver

;

4.1.

 

Remove (4) M6 Countersunk Allen Head bolts holding front cover/visor assembly

       in place using S

4

 Allen wrench. Replacement torque spec for bolts 4.

 lb ft (6 Nm).

4.2.

 

Gently remove complete assembly containing cover/ visor, LED Module and driver.

Carefully disconnect supply power socket from cover/visor, LED Module and driver

assembly.

Note 1: Be careful not to damage the LED driver

Note 2: Be careful not to damage the wire connectors

6.

To remove LED driver from module assembly

;

6.1. 

Carefully disconnect wire connectors between LED Driver and LED light module.

    

  

Note: Be careful not to damage the LED driver and sockets.

 

6.2. 

Remove  (2)  Phillips  Head  bolts  and  lock  washers.  Replacement  torque  spec  1.1  

      lb  ft  (1.5  Nm).

6.3. 

LED Driver is now free and can be removed from assembly.

7.

To remove complete LED Module and driver assembly from cover/visor assembly

;

7.1. 

Remove (2) M5 nuts and flat washers. Replacement torque spec 3 lb ft (4 Nm).

7.2. 

LED  Lighting  module  and  LED  driver  assembly  are  now  freed  from  cover/visor 

      assembly.

7.3. 

Carefully disconnect wire connectors between LED Driver and LED light module.

Note: Be careful not to damage wire connectors.

Replacing LED Light module

;

Note: Remove Driver and LED light module assembly by following all notes and steps 

from LED driver replacement through step 7.3 above. Be careful not to damage any 

wire connector assemblies.

8.

Dismantling the LED Light engine

;

8.1.

 

Remove (4) M5 Allen Head bolts attaching driver bracket to LED light engine heat

       sink using S4 Allen wrench. Replacement torque spec 3.5 lb ft (5 Nm)

8.2.

 LED Light module and heat sink are now free to be removed from LED Driver bracket.

Note: Be careful not to damage LED driver or Light Engine during replacement process.
