3 Safety instructions
In addition to the general rules for handling electrical equip-
ment, the following safety precautions must be observed.
Read and observe the below listed information before initial
operation of the equipment.
Supply a copy of the safety precautions when selling, leasing, or
otherwise distributing this equipment.
ATTENTION!
Improper handling of the device, non-compliance with the safety
hints below, or tampering with the safety features can cause
property damage, bodily injury, electric shock, or even death.
The mobile power supply
Power Max L
is intended for use
by professional photographers. Its purpose is the supply of
electrical energy for specified types of compact flash units and
continuous light sources. The flash generator is to be used only
with the accessories described in this manual and approved by
Hensel-Visit.
The appliance may not be used for any other purpose than
described above, especially not for other electrical applications.
Set-up and initial operation

Do not use mobile power supplies and flash units in explosi

ve environments.
• Before connecting equipment to the
Power Max L
, make
sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the specifications
listed on the unit’s specification plate.

Only use the
Power Max L
with the units listed in this ma-
nual. Before the use of other units, consult the respective
manufacturer. Hensel-Visit ist not liable for damages which
result from the connection and operation of units made by
other manufacturers.

Only use plugs/connectors with flawless and grounded con
-
tacts. Instead of using commercially available plug adap
-
ters, appliances must be connected via Schuko (230V/50 Hz)
power cords. These are available through your local Hensel
distributor.
