Bulk-12 Pump Rebuild Kit

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disconnect power from unit.
2. Remove front panel by removing two (2) screws in the
upper section of the panel.
3. Disconnect connectors and ground wire from base and
set aside panel making sure not to damage PC board.
4. Remove the ground wire from the housing coming
from harness inside of unit.
5. From the lower portion of both left and right sides,
remove the four (4) screws and place on the side.
6. Lift the enclosure from the base unit, using caution
not to damage the wiring harness.
7. Remove the two (2) bolts securing the motor
bracket to the frame and move to the side.
8. Remove heat shield from base by removing
10-32 screws from bottom of base.
9. Remove the coupling from the top of the pump shaft
as well as the key. Place in a clean area.
10. Using a 1 3/8'' wrench, unscrew the seal housing.
11. Remove the o-ring # 2-017 from the pump body.
12. Using the cleaning solution and cleaning pad supplied,
remove all residues on shaft and remove the thrust
washer from the shaft.
13. Using the lubrication supplied, put a small amount on
the new o-ring # 2-017 and the groove and install o-ring.
14. Place thrust washer onto shaft.
15. Inspect seal housing to ensure that the seal retainer is in place
and assemble the seal housing assembly, consisting of pump
shaft seal housing, pump shaft seal, seal retainer, by rotating
and sliding onto the shaft until shaft is through the housing.
Continue to rotate and slide down until housing comes in contact
with pump body and thread the housing on the pump. Ensure the
housing is firmly tightened to the pump.
16. Replace the heat shield.
17. Replace the key and coupling to the pump shaft.
18. Replace the motor assembly making sure that all three
balls are still in place.
19. Replace the two bolts and washers securing the pump
bracket to the base frame making sure the bracket is sitting
flat on the base, then tighten the two (2) bolts.
20. Replace the enclosure and secure with the four (4) screws
and washers.
21. Reconnect the ground wire to housing.
22. Replace the front panel making sure to connect the ground wire
and the connector. Secure the panel with the two (2) screws.
23. Reconnect power and allow to heat.
Note: If pump is removed to work on, replace o-ring # 2-031.
