Cleaning and maintenance

Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.
•
Beware: Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
•
Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth (water with mild detergent).
•
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasives. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects. Do
not use petrol or solvents! Clean with a damp cloth and detergent if necessary. Do not use
abrasive materials.
•
Turn the screw on the bottom to remove the cover. Turn the appliance upside-down to remove
any knife dust and chips. A brush may be used for this.
•
Turn the 2 screws on the sharpening wheels in the mentioned direction to remove the wheels
from the appliance. Cut the sandpaper of the wheels.
Place the new sharpening abrasive on the wheels, and re-attach the wheels to the appliance and
re-attach the cover.
ATTENTION!
When using
single layer
sandpaper make
sure the
overlapping part
of the paper is
faced to the right
on the left wheel
and to the left on
the right wheel.
