9 Repairs
NOTICE
The application tool can be damaged when opening the housing, making
changes to the components or if repairs are carried out incorrectly.
f
Tool only to be repaired by authorised personnel.
Repair work must only be carried out by the manufacturer or persons
authorised by the manufacturer. This also includes opening the application
tool and changing components or functions.
9 .1 Replacing the blade
The blade should always be changed when the tie can no longer be
cut-off neatly or easily.
CAUTION
The blade is sharp and could cause injury.

Unscrew the blade holder screws

f Remove the blade holder

f Remove the blade

) carefully.

If necessary, replace the punch

) by removing the pin

f Insert a new and undamaged blade of the same size and design (see
section „Spare parts and accessories“). Observe the correct installation
direction.
f Replace the blade holder

f Tighten the screw of the blade holder

10 Taking out of operation
When used for its intended purpose, the application tool can be used
without time limit. In case of disposal, the application tool must be
disposed of correctly in accordance with the country-specific disposal
guidelines.
