If a component malfunction is detected while ECU carries out an internal test, a fault code is set in memory
and the corresponding warning lamp is being activated. Mega macs 42 enables not only single request but
also the overall request of all component modules in a vehicle. The following results are possible:
After finishing the overall request, it is also possible to directly read out the individual components.
Steps:
1. Select the component module.
2. Start the communication with >F1<.
Steps for the individual component retrieval
1. Connect mega macs 42 as described in section E - communication establishment.
