If no communication to the vehicle is established, use this programme to check the function of the diagnostic
plug.
Steps:
Connect the mains supply to mega macs 42.
2. Select and confirm >Test function<.
2. Connect the ST2 cable to mega macs 42.

Diagnostic plug, cable or mega macs 42 defective.
or
mega macs 42 is OK.
Diagnostic socket inside the vehicle defective i.e. no voltage on pin 16 or rather poor earth connection on pin 4.
