Installation of the HELIX Digital Input Module HDM 1

SPDIF Direct In switch by mounting the HELIX Dig-
ital Input Module HDM 1.
7RLQVWDOOWKHPRGXOHLWLVQHFHVVDU\WRUHPRYHWKH
side panel of the C ONE and replace it by the new
side panel that comes with the HDM 1.
Attention: Install the HDM 1 only in the designat-
HGGHYLFHDQGLWVVSHFL¿FVORW8VLQJWKHPRGXOH
in other devices or slots can result in damage of
WKH+'0PRGXOHWKHDPSOL¿HUWKHKHDGXQLW
car radio or other connected devices!
Read in the following the steps how to install the
module:
1.
First disconnect the power supply (+12 V /
GND / REM) and RCA / Cinch cables from the
GHYLFH

5HPRYHWKHDFU\OLFFRYHUE\ORRVHQLQJWKHHLJKW
Allen screws.

Then dismantle the side panel where the pow-

screws.

Prepare the module for installing it into the de-

,QVHUW WKH PRGXOH LQWR WKH VSHFL¿F VORW RI WKH
GHYLFHZKLFKLVPDUNHGLQWKHIROORZLQJSLFWXUH
Make sure that the module is installed properly.

,QVHUW WKH$OOHQ VFUHZ ZKLFK LV GHOLYHUHG ZLWK
the HDM 1 into the mounting hole of the module
