2.14.2 FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and Email
The Helios camera can be configured to capture
a snapshot in response to a camera event and
transfer the image to an FTP site or email ad-
dress.
To set up FTP:
•
Click on the FTP and Email tab.
•
Set the IP Address or URL of your FTP
server.
•
Enter the Username.
•
Enter the Password.
• Confirm the Password.
•
Enter the Directory where you wish to
store snapshots.
•
Click the Apply button to apply the set-
tings to the camera temporarily.
•
Click the Save button to apply the set-
tings and save in the camera.
•
Click on the Event Actions tab to set up the actions that are to be taken if an event occurs. See
2.14.4.
To set up Email:
•
Click on the FTP and Email tab.
•
Set the IP Address or URL of your SMTP server.
•
Enter the User name.
•
Enter the Password.
• Confirm the Password.
• Enter the email address where you wish to send email notifications.
•
Click the Apply button to apply the settings to the camera temporarily.
•
Click the Save button to apply the settings and save in the camera.
•
Click on the Event Actions tab to set up the actions that are to be taken if an event occurs. See
