3 .6 3-way mixing valve conversion
1. Loosen union nut on bypass with a spanner
SW52 (Fig. 14).
2. Turn 3-way mixer assembly by 180°.
Then turn the T-piece by 180°.
Tighten union nut with a torque of 150 Nm
(Fig. 15).
3. Check alignment of the mixer plug.
Its flattened side must face downward and be
aligned horizontally (Fig. 16).
The plug blocks the flow line in this position.
4. Place the adapter (3) provided with the actuator
(Fig. 17) on the mixer plug.
5. Ensure that the long bar of the adapter is facing
downward (Fig. 17).
6. Place rotation lock (9) on 3-way mixing valve
(Fig. 18).
7. Attach actuator to adapter (3) (Fig. 17).
8. Tighten screw (4) with serrated washer (5) with a
torque of 5 Nm (Fig. 18).
9. The mixer housing with actuator is prepared for
installation in the fitting group.
10. When installing the 3-way mixing valve in
the fitting group, the union nuts must be tightened
with a torque of 45 Nm.
11. A leak test must be carried out after installation.
