EKF Check

After each calibration and before each flight, the pilot must check EKF values, specially
the compass.
Connect your Fox 6 to Mission Planner, on dashboard, please click

“

EKF

” like shown in the

picture below.

Then, the following menu will display.

Afterwards, hold the Fox 6 parallel to the ground and perform slowly a complete circle.
At the meantime, check the compass value is never above 0.5. If this value grows up
above 0.5, please perform a new calibration (see above).

Checking EKF values allows to verify a good compass calibration in different directions.
This will check the good entire configuration.
