Calibration backup  

It may be useful to save a calibration that is  achieved on a particular site, in order to 
avoid  recalibration  at  each  mission  start,  on  the  same  site.  When  the  Drone  Box  is  
unplugged from the Drone, connect the Drone Box to the PC via USB cable, click « Save 
Parameters ».  Saved  parameters  will  then  be  reusable  by  calibration  restoring  (see 
below). 
 

 

Calibration restoring 

In  the  same  way,  connect  the  Drone  Box  to  the  PC  via  USB,  and  click  on  « Restore 
Parameters ». 
 

 

IMU 

 

Overview 

The initial accelerometers calibration is achieved by HELICEO. Nevertheless, it could be 
necessary to redo the calibration. Be aware that this operation is seldom. 
 
A new calibration is necessary, when the blue and red crosses are differently positioned 
in shift and /or rotation, while the Drone Box is put at the horizontal (see below).
