After establishing the connection to the device, click on the Setup button to
open the Recorder settings dialogue window.

Transmitting
parameters
To conclude parameter settings, confirm the change made using OK , so that
the data is transmitted to the device.
For detailed information on device parameterisation, if necessary please
consult Chapter 7 of the CamControl LITE software manual.
Testing the alarm
After setting the device parameters, if necessary a test for a correct alarm
should be carried out.
Model alarm using
Aux in1

Take the relevant transmission routes into operation.

Check the dial-up number(s) for alarms: Connections\Phone & IP
numbers (if necessary to your receiver PC or to the control station) (see
”Parameter settings for the device” on page 25) .

Ensure that the device is not in the alarm status (see ”LED Alarm - red” on
page 18) .
■
Close the connection from Aux in1 and to the relevant device ground
for at least 500 ms.
■
Check to see whether the alarm is correctly sent to your receiver PC or to
the control station.
CamControl LITE should report "Online/Tamper alarm" in the status line
bottom right in this case:
As an example, an alarm via the Aux in1 input is described (see ”Aux in1”
on page 20) .
This contact, described as the tamper input, is particularly suitable for this,
because an alarm is given regardless of the arming/disarming of the
device. This input is defined as normally opened (NO).

If the general alarm control input or camera-specific control inputs need to
be checked, ensure without fail that the device has been armed
beforehand.
