Locking the
removable hard disk
In addition to mechanically securing the hard disk, locking ( 1 ) also switches
on the removable hard disk power supply. This safety measure prevents the
hard disk from being removed during operation, causing damage to it.
Rear view and des c ription
8 LED Live - blue Brief flashing of the Live LED during online connection indicates ongoing picture
transmission.
9 LED Record - blue An illuminated Record LED indicates hard disk write-access, e.g. caused by image
recording or system-related access, such as transmission of date and time data.
10 LED Armed (alarm
enabled) - yellow
Indicates the armed status of the Cam4mobile VG . A permanently-illuminated
Armed LED (alarm enabled) indicates that incoming alarms will be forwarded to
predefined receiver units, depending on device configurations.
11 LED Alarm - red A permanently-lit Alarm LED during alarm processing indicates the Cam4mobile VG
alarm status.
12 USB port USB direct connection to the CamControl receiver station

between CCIR/PAL and EIA/NTSC mode is automatic.

3 V out Video output: Analog video output with video switch and/or sequencer feature, e.g.
for direct connection of a video monitor.
