Rotation angle of the clamping lever is limited to 180°. In case this is not enough to
tighten the bottle holder, it is possible to reposition the lever using a ratchet mechanism.
Pull the lever in the direction shown in diagram (inwards, towards the center) and hold,
pull the lever in the anti-clockwise direction, release the inward pressure on the lever,
and then tighten the lever in the clockwise direction. Always load the REAX 20 in a
symmetrical way so as to distribute the weight equally.
➜ Pull clamping lever in direction of
arrow and hold.
➜ Turn clamping lever anti-clockwise.
➜ Release clamping lever.
➜ The clamping lever locks into the new
position.
➜ Tighten clamping lever by turning it
from front to back.
Starting rotation
Warning:
Risk of injury!
Returning power after a power cut off will restart shaking mode. There
is a risk of injury in the vicinity of moving parts of device.
Before working with the device or in the vicinity ensure all controls are
switched to “0” or “OFF” mode, when device is not moving.
Caution:
Risk of breakage and spillage
If the vessels are not attached securely they may fall out and spill the
sample.
Prior to switching the unit on ensure that all vessels are securely
fastened.
Warning:
Risk of poisoning
Open vessels will result in samples splashing.
Close all vessels tightly especially if sample is dangerous or toxic.
Adjust rotation speed step by step until you have reached the required
rpm settings.
Wear safety glasses and especially with dangerous and toxic samples
appropriate protective clothing.
A power cut will stop the unit.
With power return the device is switched on automatically. Shaking
must be started manually.
