E. Chimney Requirements

When planning your

 replace location, the chimney construc-

tion and necessary clearances must be considered. The

 re-

place system and chimney components have been tested to 
provide

 exibility in construction. The following

the minimum distances from the base of the

 replace. 

• 

Minimum overall straight height is 6 ft 4 in. 

if the

 replace 

is freestanding 

and a minimum of 10 ft from a combustible 

structure.

of the roof within 10 ft (3 m) of the chimney. Refer to
