A. Recommendation for Wire

This appliance requires 110-120 VAC be wired to the junc-
tion box for proper operation of the appliance.

re Ignition System Wiring and

3 Function Circuit Board

This appliance requires a 110 VAC supply to the appliance
junction box for operation. A wiring diagram is shown in
Figure 10.1.

This appliance is equipped with an Intelli

fi

re control valve

which operates on a 3 volt system.

This appliance is equipped with a 3 function circuit board
which operates on 110 VAC and 12 VDC.

This appliance is supplied with a 3 volt AC transformer and
a 12 volt DC transformer, which requires the installation of
the supplied junction box. It is highly recommended that
the junction box be installed at this time to avoid recon-
struction.

Optional Remote Control Requirements

To attach remote receiver in series with 3 function wall
switch see wiring diagram (Figure 10.2).

C. Wall Switch

This appliance requires use of 3 function switch included
with product.

Position the wall switch in the desired position on the wall.
An assembly of 18 ft of 14 AWG solid copper wires is in-
cluded with the

replace to connect the wall switch to the

appliance. The maximum wire length allowed is 50 feet.

B. Connecting to the Appliance

CAUTION

Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls.
Wiring errors can cause improper and dangerous operation.
Verify proper operation after servicing.

Wire 110V to electrical junction box.
Do NOT wire 110V to valve.
Do NOT wire 110V to wall switch.
• Incorrect wiring will damage millivolt valves.
• Incorrect wiring will override IPI safety lockout

and may cause explosion.

WARNING

Shock hazard.
• Replace damaged wire with type 105º C

rated wire.

• Wire must have high temperature insulation.
