Maintenance
Level 4 – at Least Yearly or Every Ton of Pellets
Clean Hopper, Auger & Exterior of Pellet
Engine
1. Remove hopper door – vacuum hopper and
auger inlet.
2. Remove top casting and grille assembly –
vacuum all surfaces.
3. Remove both side panels (lift using tool
provided), remove rear panel – vacuum all
surfaces
Clean Baffles & Heat
Exchanger
1. Remove and clean firebox
baffles. Inspect for burn
through or cracking –
replace as required.
2. Exercise rakes, vacuum all
accessible surfaces and
spaces
3. Clean convection fan
impeller cage with a soft
brush
– vacuum as
necessary.
4. You can use high
temperature stove paint
inside the firebox after
cleaning to prevent rust
during the non-heating
season.
Upper & Lower Baffles
– lift to disengage and
remove from firebox
right sides first.
Heat Exchanger
Tubes
Remove the
screws to
remove the
hopper door.
Do not remove
secondary door.
Rear Panel
Side Panel
Top Casting
