Introduction
Ensure young children are carefully supervised when in the same room as the appliance. Do not place clothing
or other flammable material on or near the appliance.
Fire Hazard
In the unlikely event of a soot, or creosote fire – leave the front door and ash drawer closed and shut
the unit off (unplug the unit if the chimney fire does not go out immediately). Have the unit and
venting inspected before further use.
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors or liquids in the vicinity of this appliance.
Locate stove out of traffic and away from furniture, draperies, clothing, and flammable material.
Never use gasoline, gasoline-type lantern fuel, kerosene, charcoal lighter fluid, or similar liquids to
start or ‘freshen up’ a fire in this heater. Keep all such liquids well away from the heater while it is in
use.
