DANGER
In the measurement category II range, the ITC-K100 is
approved for a maximum voltage to ground potential of
600 V DC or 600 V AC rms.
The protection provided by the thermocouple within this
measurement category is not guaranteed above these
voltages.
DANGER
In the measurement category III range, the ITC-K1000 is
approved for a maximum voltage to ground potential of
300 V DC or 300 V AC rms.
The protection provided by the thermocouple within this
measurement category is not guaranteed above these
voltages.
DANGER
Operation of the ITC-K1000 thermocouple in the range of
measurement category IV is not permitted.
The protection provided by the thermocouple is not
guaranteed within measurement category IV.
DANGER
The protection provided by the ITC-K1000 thermocouple
can be impaired if the thermocouple is operated in
ambient air that is too humid or has too much condensa­
tion, or in damp or wet conditions, such as after liquid
spillages (see specifications).
