Connecting the supply voltage
Notice
The transducer connection must always be assigned – to resistors if necessary – before
you switch on the supply voltage.
The required power supply is an extra-low voltage (max. 30 V
DC
) with protective separa
tion from the mains. The current consumption depends on the level of the power supply
and decreases with a higher supply voltage.
You can route the power supply lines together with the interface leads in a single cable,
or use a separate cable. If several AEDs are supplied via one cable, pay attention to the
voltage drop via this cable, and ensure that the supply voltage to the AEDs does not get
too low. The voltage drop depends on the supply current and the cable resistance.
