Design and function
4. Operation
• Switch on the compressor so that the air
tank is filled.
• Turn the compressor regulator to approx.
142.3 PSI or 10 bar. The max. working
pressure of this tool is approx. 142.3 PSI
or 10 bar. If the air pressure is too high, the
measured value can change considerably
and result in incorrect values.
• Do not use defective or worn air hoses or
adapters of inferior quality.
• The pressure is regulated by the compressor
regulator or by an extra pressure regulator.
• The technical data given refers to an opera
tion of the tool at a pressure of 10 bar.
Tyre Inflation
• Push the plug onto the valve.
• Pull the operating lever towards the tool to
start the tyre inflation.
• After releasing the operating lever, the tyre
pressure is indicated in bar. Ensure the
display/the manometer is held level when
reading the value in order to avoid reading
errors.
Tyre Pressure Correction
• Pull the operating lever half way towards the
tool in order to reduce the tyre pressure.
• After releasing the operating lever, the tyre
pressure is indicated in bar.
After tool usage
• Disconnect tyre inflator from air supply.
• Clean tool without water.
• After completing the operation switch off the
compressor and store it according to the
operating instructions of the compressor.
• Only use clean and dry air at a max. pres
sure of 142.3 PSI or 10 bar. Dust, flammable
vapour and high humidity can result in dam
age to the pneumatic tool.
Ensure the manometer is never
knocked and/or that the tyre inflator
is never dropped. This can have a
significant impact on the manome
ter’s display and can cause incorrect values
to be shown.
Before each use, ensure that the
manometer’s pointer is in the correct
zero position.
If damage is detected, the tyre inflator must
not be used!
5. Malfunctions
If malfunctions occur, check the following:
• Compression system and compressed air
supply lines,
air consumption l/min and hose
cross section according to the technical data
of the device
• Check the compressed air for the occur
rence of dust, condensate and rust particles.
