The Remote Reference Unit also communicates with the GPS Satellites to obtain the 1-second

timing reference and as such the Remote Reference Unit is supplied with an external GPS

Antenna that must be positioned such that GPS Satellite Communications is achieved.

The Internet connected PC also contains Data Logging software (supplied), that will allow the

capture to file, of data from PIU units (see section 9).
