NOTES:

1.  WARNING:  Make certain power is disconnected before servicing to reduce

risk of electrical shock.

2.  This unit is intended for indoor use only.

3.  For all plastic push-in type fitting connections, push tubing into fitting until it

bottoms out to ensure a watertight connection.  To remove, depress collet and
pull tubing out.

4.  O-rings on filter cartridge must be lubricated prior to insertion into filter head

to ensure a proper fit and seal.

5.  There is an opening in the back of the unit to accommodate a waste bend.  If a

plumbed waste is desired, a waste retrofit kit is available.

Refer to Installation Drawings for details.  Use NSF-61 approved pipe joint sealant on all
threaded water connections.

STEP 1:

Remove the rear cover/mounting bracket by unscrewing the four mounting screws

on the top and sides (requires a T30 Torx driver).  The rear cover/mounting
bracket should now be free of the rest of the unit.

STEP 2:

Open small box located inside main carton and remove drain basin assembly.
Install drain basin assembly into front of unit as indicated on Installation Drawing;
push in until snap latches are fully engaged.
