SELECTING SAFE TREE:
•
Select a healthy straight tree that fits within size limits larger than 8-inches in diameter and smaller
than 22-inches in diameter at attachment height.
•
Always thoroughly inspect tree from all sides before installing product.
•
Be sure climbing sticks are level. Tree must not lean or have any irregular shapes.
•
Do not select a tree with vines or limbs below your desired hunting height.
•
Never attach climbing sticks to limbs! Always attach to main trunk of tree.
•
Never use on trees with wet, icy, slippery, loose or scaly bark.
CLIMBING STICK MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM TREE SIZE: 8
– 22” DIAMETER!
Never use on a dead, leaning, diseased , loose barked tree, tree with
excessive vine or a on utility pole or any other man made structure.
Never use on trees that contain nails, screws, or other sharp objects that
may cut, sever, or puncture strap webbing or cables!
Never rely on a tree branch for support!
Failure to follow these instructions can lead to serious injury or death!
PRACTICE AND BECOME FAMILIAR WITH PRODUCT AT GROUND LEVEL:
Always practice attaching/detaching, adjusting and using climbing sticks at ground level prior to using at
elevated positions.
Prior to using climbing sticks at elevated positions for first use of each season, test operation and use at
ground level.
