Figure A5:
17. Be sure the stand is in the
proper upright position.
18. Attach the 2 Extension Rollers
(
drawing
) to the Extension
Braces (
schematic drawing ) on both
ends of the Top Assembly by
sliding the Rollers’ legs down
through the diamond-shaped
holes.
19. Insert the black plastic 4
Extension Roller End Caps
(
drawing ) into the bottoms of
the Extension Rollers ’ 4 legs.
20. Insert and tighten the 2 M8 x 30
mm long thread Roller Height
Locking Knobs (
& the schematic drawing ) to
hold the Rollers at the desired
heights.
You can:
A) Attach the 2 Adjustable
Extension Fences to the
Extension Rollers where they
can function as extensions of
your mitre saw’s back fence.
To do this:
21. Locate the slotted shelf attached
to the roller and place 1 of the
2 M8 Square Nuts, underneath
with the Adjustable Extension
Fence on top.
22. Fasten together using one of
the 2 M8 x 10 mm long thread
Extension Fence Locking
Knobs .
23. Repeat on other roller.
Or, per Figure A6:
B) You can also use the
Adjustable Extension Fence
( #21 ) as a cutting stop and
attach it to the Top Assembly
frame:
24. Place 1 of the 2 M8 Square
Nuts ( #23 ) inside one of the
rails on the Top Assembly
with the Adjustable Extension
Fence on top.
25. Fasten them together using 1 of
the 2 M8 x 10 mm long thread
Extension Fence Locking
Knobs ( #22 ) .
