Plug in the appliance and turn it on (after at least 10 minutes).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! Unplug the appliance before cleaning and maintenance.
CAUTION! Do not submerge the appliance in water or other liquids.
1.
Do not use chemical solvents (including benzene, alcohol or gasoline), as they may cause
permanent damage to the appliance.

Clean the case with a soft, damp cloth; next, wipe it dry. Use a bit of a gentle detergent to
remove persistent grime.
3.
Remove the pre-filter (12) and the carbon filter car-
tridge (14) sliding them out from the inlet grille (7) (Fig.6)
Dust the pre-filter (12) with a soft brush, wash it in wa-
ter with a detergent and then rinse and dry. In the case
of persistent grime, repeat the cleaning process. Dust
the cartridge with a soft brush but do not wash it. Re-
place the filters after cleaning. Install the carbon filter
cartridge (14) in the central part of the pre-filter (12)
using the installed hooks. Clean every 2-3 weeks. If me-
chanical damage is found, replace the filters.
CAUTION! Do not turn the appliance off if the filters are not installed
properly.

Clean the water tank every few weeks. Remove it from
the appliance and take the rubber plug off. Fill the tank with water with a detergent and
shake gently. Rinse and dry after washing.
CAUTION! Make sure not to damage the water level sensor when washing the tank.
CAUTION! Do not wash the tank in a dishwasher.

Store the appliance in a dry, shaded place when all the above steps have been completed.
6.
To ensure the highest antibacterial protection, replace the UV lamp once every 3 years. The
UV lamp should be replaced by an authorised service centre.
