3.1.2 - Tilt control box function
This test must be performed on the machine with the mast fully extended.
For STAR 6 (STAR 13)
1. Pull the battery cut-off push button ( P124 ).
2. Switch the machine on P125.
3. Manually tilt and maintain the tilt towards the front for a few seconds ( Section C 2-
Main components). The buzzer sounds.
For STAR 8 (STAR 22J)-STAR 10 (STAR 26J)
1. Pull the emergency stop push buttons ( P46 ) and on the chassis (button position ON).
2. Turn the console activation selector key ( P92 ) downwards or upwards to activate a
console.
3. Manually tilt and maintain the tilt towards the front for a few seconds ( Section C 2-
Main components). The buzzer sounds.
For STAR 9-STAR 11-STAR 12
1. Pull the emergency stop push buttons P15, P46.
2. Turn the console activation selector key ( P72 ) to the left or right to activate a console.
3. Manually tilt and maintain the tilt towards the front for a few seconds ( Section C 2-
Main components). The buzzer sounds.
3.1.3 - Visual and audio alarms
For : STAR 6 (STAR 13)
1. Pull the battery cut-off push button ( P124 ).
2. Switch the machine on P125. A sound signal (beep) sounds.
Step Action
1 Pull the emergency stop push buttons( P15, P46 ).

Turn the key of the console activation selector ( P72 ) to the right to activate the lower
console.
3 Push the emergency stop push button ( P15 ).
Step Action
1 Pull the emergency stop push buttons( P15, P46 ).
2 Turn the console activation selector ( P72 ) to the left to activate the upper console.
3 Push the emergency stop push button ( P46 ).
