Step 35

Locate the right scissor arm.  Attach the scissor arm to the axle using the 1” x 4-1/2” clevis pin.  Secure the pin 
with a 3/16” x 1-1/2” cotter pin. (Fig. 35.1)  Attach the other end of the scissor are to the cylinder cross tube as 
shown in fig. 35.2.  Fasten the scissor arm to the cross tube using (3) 5/8” x 1-1/2” flange bolts & flange nuts.
Leave the inside hole open to allow for cross brace assembly later.  Repeat this step for the left scissor arm. 

Step 36

Locate the transport support tube assembly.  Move the bracket between the two scissor arms.  Make sure that 
the upright rest arms are leaning away from the axle.  Attach each side using (3) 5/8” x 1-1/2” flange bolts & 
nuts.  Do not tighten.  Be sure to leave the lower front (furthest from axle) hole open for now. (Fig. 36.2)
