the locking mechanism after cleaning as necessary with a little fine
oil.
9 | Warranty
Your Hartmann carabiner lock is covered by the statutory two-year
warranty. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. The
warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, use for anything other
than the intended purpose, damage caused by an accident or by mo-
difications or attempted repairs by unauthorised persons, or changes
to the technical specification.
10 | Disposal
Packaging disposal
Please dispose of the packaging properly. Dispose of card
and cardboard with the waste paper and dispose of plastic
film and blister packaging with recyclables.
Disposing of the carabiner lock
(Applicable in the European Union and other European countries with
systems for separate collection of recyclables)
If you wish to dispose of the padlock, hand it over to a local recycling
centre or a collection point for scrap metal.
