InfoCaster R2100 Hardware Installation Manual

Configure the 
Temperature 
Probe

Set up your temperature probe in the InfoCaster Configuration Utility. After 
configuring the temperature probe, you can display the temperature reading 
on-screen using InfoCaster.

With InfoCaster running, select Start > Programs > Harris > InfoCaster > 
Configuration Utility > InfoCaster Configuration Utility.

In the Configuration Utility, switch to the Temperature Probe tab.

Select the default units for your temperature probe reading: Celsius or 
Fahrenheit.

Check the Use Temperature Probe checkbox.

Select your device from the Temperature Probe item list.

Select the COM port that the temperature probe is connected to from the 
COM Port list.

Click OK. A message appears indicating that you must close InfoCaster 
before you can apply the changes. Make sure InfoCaster is closed and then 
click OK.
