Chapter 2: Installation

Setting Jumper CJ1 for Local or Remote Control

The HMX6803

and OP

HMX

module has one jumper, CJ1, which sets the

module for local or remote control.

Note

You need to configure modules for local or remote operation prior to
power-up. To change the configuration, first remove power from the module,
reset the jumper, and then reapply power.

1. Locate jumper

CJ1

on the module (behind the mode select rotary switch).

Figure 2-1

2. Place a jumper on pins 1 and 2 to set the module for

Remote

control, or pins

2 and 3 to set the module for

Local

control. See

Figure 2-2
