1.  Loosen  harness  system  by  pushing  the  up-front  metal  harness  adjuster  at  the 

front of the seat

simultaneously pulling the chest harness straps towards you

2.   Face the rear of the child restraint. Release the shoulder pad straps and remove 

the harness straps from the splitter plates (see “Removing/installing harness”)

3.  Gently pull the straps out from the front harness slots

4.  Select  the  proper  harness  slot  height  and  feed  the  straps  (harness  and 

shoulder  pads)  back  through

5.  Reattach shoulder pads and the harness straps to the metal 

splitter plates
