USAGE WARNINGS
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
(NHTSA) and the
U.S. Department of Transportation
recommends that children under the age of 13 years be
placed in the back seat of the vehicle and away from
active front airbags.
According to accident statistics,
CHILDREN ARE SAFER
WHEN PROPERLY RESTRAINED IN THE REAR SEATING
POSITIONS THAN IN THE FRONT SEATING POSITIONS
.
Please study the section “Vehicle seating positions”,
pg. 13.
Many local police and fire departments frequently hold
safety inspection events to ensure that booster seats are
properly installed. Please contact your local emergency
services department to see if and when they offer this
service.
!
DO NOT
allow others to install or use this booster seat
unless they read and understand all the instructions
and labels.
!
DO NOT GIVE THIS BOOSTER SEAT
to someone else
without also giving them this instruction manual.
!
To ensure proper booster seat use, keep and store this
instruction manual and refer to it when necessary.
!
DO NOT LEAVE A BOOSTER SEAT UNSECURED IN
YOUR VEHICLE
. Child restraint systems should be
securely belted to the vehicle, even when they are not
occupied, since in a crash an unsecured child restraint
system may injure other occupants.
