TO ADJUST THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN
THE LOOPERS
Correct Setting:
When the loopers meet as shown in Fig. 2, the clearance should be 0 to 0.1 mm as shown in Fig. 1.
To adjust:
1. Remove the presser foot and needle plate.
2. Turn the handwheel toward you with your hand to bring the loopers as shown in Fig. 2.
3. Loosen setscrew, and adjust the clearance by moving the upper looper to the back or front as
shown in Fig. 3.
4. Tighten the setscrew firmly.
5. Check the clearance between the upper looper and needle.
6. Attach the needle plate and presser foot.
