Near Field Communication (NFC) and Bluetooth pairing instructions.

This software procedure allows you to replace an NFC Board or a VFD Display Control Board in the BDS 280/230
and BDS 580/230.

IMPORTANT: This update must be performed in an ESD protected environment!

To perform this pairing, the following equipment is needed:

•

Android NFC mobile phone

•

Special Android App installed on mobile phone

The Android App is to be downloaded from the FTP server:

Direct access with a web browser:

Procedure:

Disassemble the BDS unit by removing the top cover.

Locate the BT-module and the label with BT address on the VDF Display Control board.
