Four-Zone/Eight-Room A-BUS ® Expansion Hub
With the ABH 4000, you’re no longer limited to listening to the same music in each room. When connected between up to
four sources and your AVR, the ABH 4000 lets you easily create up to four zones with separate sources so everyone can
listen to what he or she wants to hear. Connect a Harman Kardon AVR equipped with A-BUS technology via a simple link and
you can add the receiver’s tuner, XM Radio or The Bridge docking station (when equipped) to the list of sources. Thanks to the
ABH 4000, multizone whole-house audio has never been so simple, or so affordable.
Four-Room A-BUS Expansion Hub
With the ABH 4, no room in the house need be without music, no matter which AVR is in use. For existing systems linked
to A-BUS Ready products, the ABH 4 allows you to power up to four rooms, or even more with additional ABH 4 hubs. For
systems without an A-BUS Ready jack, the ABH 4’s onboard audio inputs add the simplicity of A-BUS technology to any
multichannel or stereo receiver with a “Tape” or “Multiroom” output; you can even use it directly with a CD or DVD player or
outboard tuner to bring music to any room.
Amplified In-Wall Module With Onboard Controls for A-BUS Applications
The perfect mate to the ABH 4000 or to any A-BUS Ready Harman Kardon AVR, the AB 2 lets you select and control your
listening source, raise or lower the volume for the AB 2’s internal power amplifier or turn the system on or off. A built-in IR
sensor completes the package, which means you may use the included AVR remote or almost any Harman Kardon remote to
control compatible sources. You can even change the keycaps to match your system configuration.
Amplified In-Wall Module for A-BUS Applications
The innovative A-BUS system makes it incredibly easy to bring Harman Kardon sound to a remote room. Thanks to a
built-in amplifier and a single-cable connection to any A-BUS Ready receiver or an ABH Series expansion hub, all you
need to do is connect the speakers and use your second-zone remote or the up/down volume control, and musical
pleasure is yours throughout your home.
External Infrared Remote Sensor
Stay in command. Whether a Harman Kardon product is hidden behind doors or connected to another room, this external
IR sensor allows the use of any compatible remote control to operate your Harman Kardon system.

room in the house. All 7.1-channel Harman Kardon receivers feature assignable rear-channel amps, a second-
zone control system and (except for the AVR 247) a second-zone remote control, making it easy to power
another room without an additional amplifier.
