4. Lamination

NOTE!
It is the installer’s responsibility to decide the type of deck lamination.

NOTE!
For the lamination process, customer must consider the following aspects:

-

the thicknesses of the laminated deck, shown below

-

maximum round fillets value of 5mm nearby the connecting zone edge of the surfaces

-

the flatness of the deck surface within a range of tolerance of ±0.10mm

-

the depth of deck cutout of 46mm, with a range tolerance of +0.50

-

a fiberglass layer on the upper surface of the portion of the laminated deck

5. Installation
After lamination, the installation can be done thanks to 8 threaded inserts, included and shipped by
Harken Italy in the ordered winch package of the winch.
The drilling process of the base and the gluing process of the inserts on the laminated deck are followed
by the qualified personnel of Harken Italy Tech Service.
