Replacing the Halogen Lamp
1. Turn the rotisserie OFF (push in main ON/OFF red
switch) and disconnect power to the rotisserie before
proceeding. Allow a period of time for the rotisserie
to reach a safe-to-touch temperature.
2. If applicable, allow the rotisserie and halogen bulb to cool
down.
3. Referring to Figure 7-4, locate the replacement lamp (located
in a compartment under the rotisserie, opposite to the drain
valve handle). Remove the wingnut to retrieve the lamp -
behind the cover, and then reassemble the cover in place.
4. Open the door of the rotisserie. Looking up at the ceiling of
the oven, locate the halogen lamp compartment and ensure
that it is not hot-to-the-touch.
5. Slide both light compartment tabs inwards to unlock (Figure
7-5), then pivot the door panel downwards in order to gain
access to the halogen lamp (Figure 7-6).
6. While wearing clean gloves, gently pull the light bulb out of
its fixture (Figure 7-6).
Do not touch the replacement bulb with bare fingers
or dirty gloves.
7. Install a new bulb (P/N: 11895.200W), ensuring that both ends
of the light line up with the emboss pin of the light fixture.
8. Plug the power cord back into the wall receptacle.
9. Turn the rotisserie ON (pull out main ON/OFF red switch).
10. Verify that the replaced bulbs function correctly (it is normal for
the lights to take about 6 seconds to light after the main red
switch is pulled to ON).
11. If the light turns on after 6 seconds, close and secure the light
compartment by sliding the locking tabs outward, then continue
with normal operation.
12. If the light does not turn on, repeat steps 4 to 9 of this
procedure and make sure the bulb was correctly inserted in the
socket. Turn the rotisserie ON and recheck. If problems persist,
close the light compartment and contact your local authorized
service partner.
