Gear Box

The gear box situated in the air kit is one of the mechanical elements which works the most. Axial air kits include 
two different models of gear box. Depending on the air kit installed in your machine, the gear box will be of a bigger 
or smaller size.

The gear box for the A750 air kits has one speed. The speed ratio 
is the following:

1st speed = 1 / 4.36

It holds 1 litre of oil for cooling and lubrication. The type of oil used 
is SAE 90, which is ideal for high temperatures.

See “Maintenance” for how frequently the equipment has to be 
checked.

The gear box for the AG750 and AG820 air kits has two speeds. 
The speed ratio is the following:

AG750
1st speed = 1 / 3.7
2nd speed = 1 / 4.

AG820
1st speed = 1 / 3.69
2nd speed = 1 / 4.36

It  holds 1.3  litres of  oil  for  cooling  and  lubrication.  The  type of  oil 
used is SAE 90,  which is ideal for high temperatures.
