Before commencing adjustment jobs please go through
this check list.
1. Connect the sprayer to the tractor.
2. Place tractor and sprayer on level ground (horizontal)

Nobody is allowed to be under the
boom whilst adjustment is carried out.

If slack occurs (backwards and forwards movements of
the boom) the 4 wheel arrangements (
A
) (see picture
below) should be adjusted.
To simplify the job raise the boom to adjust the 2 wheel
arrangements at the top and lower the boom to adjust
the 2 wheel arrangements at the base.
Each wheel arrangement (
A
) is adjusted by means of
two bolts (
B
). Bring the wheel itself into correct position
by tightening (
B
) = wheel should only just touch the
frame (

) - without being squeezed.
Please note that all 4 wheels should be uniformly tight-
ened.

Re-adjustment of the boom
After having used the sprayer for some days the boom
should be adjusted according to the following instruc-
tions:
NOTE!
Tractor and sprayer must be on level ground with
unfolded boom. Sprayer must be lubricated. See section
on Lubrication.
Adjustment of hydraulic rams is done without pressure in
the hydraulic system. Carry adjustments out in the
following order. (2, 3, 4...) order.
WARNING!
NOBODY MUST BE UNDER THE
BOOM WHILST ADJUSTMENT IS CARRIED
OUT.
2. Breakaway

way is parallel with the outer section.
3. Parallel adjustment of outer section
Loosen counter nut

and turn screw

until the outer section of the boom is
parallel with the inner section of
the same side.
