You can initiate a Safety Call even when the Xavier 2.0 is
turned off, by following these steps:

1. Press and hold the Safety Call button

for at least 1

second, until a beep is heard.

2. Xavier 2.0 turns on and the green LED flashes every

second.

3. After about 20-30 seconds, the Xavier 2.0 connects to the

network and the green LED flashes every 5 seconds
indicating normal standby operation.

4. Xavier 2.0 sounds a ring tone and the green and orange

LEDs flash in alternating mode.

5. Xavier 2.0

calls the first preset safety number. If there is no

answer, Xavier 2.0 will try to call the next stored number (up to 4
